Redesigned website + Published, again!

If you’re reading this, then you’ve undoubtedly noticed already that the website has under gone a few changes, to put it lightly.

I’ve finally solidified what I want to get out of this site. From this point forward, it will operate more as a portfolio of sorts. This means that I’ll still upload writing (including book reviews), but it won’t be as often, as I want to put only the work I’m most proud of out here.

I’m still debating whether I want to go through recording audio of my writing with this new format, but if that does happen I’ll make a post about it to let y’all know.

Now for the other good news of the week: I’ve been published again!

Some of you may remember the essay I wrote a while ago titled “Black, Gay, and Here to Stay.” Well that essay was picked up by inQluded, an indie lit mag for queer, trans & intersex Black, Indigenous & persons of color. It’s a part of their first issue, Welcome Home, which released just yesterday. You can buy it here for only $10.

I’m honored and immensely grateful to be a part of this inaugural issue, and I can’t wait to see where the magazine goes from here. Enough thanks for this opportunity can’t be given.

So that’s all for this update. I encourage y’all to look around the site (I spent a lot of time to make it this pretty) and at inQluded. Thank you for reading, and for all the continued support!
